In order to reach to the top, where the Budda was, we spent a really long long long time climbing up the moutains and also taking a 3 minutes ferry ride. Personally, I didn't know how to appreciate the displays and all because it is the Buddhist religion, but the scenery was amazing. Especially from the top.

The angmoh baby was the centre of attraction there:

And finally after a long exhausting day, we entered the city of Chengdu and checked into our hotel which we stayed at for the rest of the trip.

The transparent glass door of the toilet reminded me of Hong Kong training trip I went during my secondary school days. And my bunk mate was Ms Lee our teacher, awks much HAHAHA

On most days we had to settle our dinner ourselves so we had a chance to explore the area near our hotel as well.

The first day was crazy, we weren't used to the China culture or even familiar with the places at all. We were on our own. One thing we noticed that pedestrains seems to be the 'right' one always. Even it was red man traffic, and someone were to walked, the car would stop to give way (which wasn't a good thing. 'Cos not all drivers does that, and you never know). The traffic is so chaotic there.

On the first night we already almost lost of lives. When it was green man and we were crossing the road, suddenly a taxi just ZOOMED past us. If anyone of us were to take ONE STEP forward, there goes our life. Yes, this is ridiculously insane. Followed next was a drunk man on the motorcycle lane with a deep cut across his chest and blood oozing out profusely. He seemed semi conscious and was still riding. He rode from behind us, wanted to turn left to the main road, hit the kerb and almost lost his balance and then drove on the main rode IN THE OPPOSITE DIRECTION. Who knows where is that man now? We were so tramatised just on Day 1 there already.
